Today we hear about different "philosophies" that are focused on different areas of study of human endeavor; that they are nothing more than the bases or foundations on which the different reflections of human knowledge are theoretically based. For example: The Philosophy of History, Philosophy of Anthropology or Philosophical Anthropology, Philosophy of Law, Philosophy of Religion, Philosophy of Art, Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Psychology, Philosophy of Science. But at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, a new philosophy emerged in North America; Chiropractic Philosophy; as the basis that supports a whole study of a new discipline of human knowledge and with it a whole world of new conceptualizations that refer to knowledge, reflection, analysis, research on the theory and practice of this new discipline specialized in the neuromusculoskeletal disorders. In his work The Science of Chiropractic, B.J Palmer, Son of Dr. D.D. Palmer states: The science of chiropractic was discovered in 1895 by Dr. D.D Palmer. He has developed this Science to the point where he is justly proud of it. In addition, B. J. Palmer, in his work The Philosophy of Chiropractic (1916)) states that: chiropractic philosophy should be classified among the most common necessities of life, such as air, water and food; that the Universal Intelligence has spread everywhere with amazing and beneficent profusion. Also the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) in its November 2000 Conference on Philosophy in Chiropractic Education said that: The philosophy of chiropractic should be taught and developed in a way that is intellectually defensible in the discipline of philosophy. For this reason it is necessary to study, develop and teach the philosophy of chiropractic from a perspective of general or universal philosophy.
