Diversification of Ecuador's goods exports. Have there been any changes? ; Diversificación de las exportaciones de bienes de Ecuador. ¿Se han producido cambios? ; Diversificação das exportações de mercadorias do Equador. Houve alguma mudança?

This research aims to analyze the diversification of Ecuadorian exports and their contribution to the country's economic growth in the period 2000-2021. The descriptive study with a quantitative approach aims to analyze the importance of export diversification with emphasis on the identification of the most relevant products that affect economic growth in the years between 2000 and 2021; for which the analytical-synthetic and statistical methods were used. The data was taken from the statistical information and indicators issued by the Central Bank of Ecuador. Among the main results, it is observed that in these two decades of analysis there was a slight variation in the destination country of Ecuadorian exports and in the volume of traditional agroexports. However, there was no significant variation in the set of exportable goods, possibly due to factors such as poor public policy to promote exports and low investment in research, innovation and technology by the State and the exporting business sector. In the short and medium term, export volumes show little dynamic change in relation to prices, evidencing a loss of productive capacity. ; La presente investigación pretende analizar la diversificación de las exportaciones ecuatorianas y su aporte al crecimiento económico del país en el periodo 2000-2021. El estudio descriptivo con enfoque cuantitativo tiene como objetivo analizar la importancia de la diversificación de exportaciones con énfasis en la identificación de los productos más relevantes que inciden en el crecimiento ecónomico en los años comprendidos entre 2000 y 2021; para lo cual se emplearon los métodos analítico-sintético y estadístico. La data se tomó de la información estadística e indicadores emitidos por el Banco Central de Ecuador. Entre los principales resultados se observa que en estas dos décadas de análisis se produjo una ligera variación en el país destino de las exportaciones ecuatorianas y del volumen de las agroexportaciones tradicionales.
