Faced with this scenario, this research proposed, through formal environmental education, to apply pedagogical proposals in science teaching in a practical and active way, with the use of a socio-scientific generating theme in order to promote a change in the perception of students towards sustainable and conservation actions Natural. The research was developed in two public schools in the Municipalities of Pira? and Barra de Pira?, with four classes from the 7th year of elementary school. Data collection instruments were: analysis and survey of bibliographic material, questionnaires and application of practical and dissertation activities. The research had a qualiquanti character, with content and discourse analysis. The application of the project took place during the period from May to July 2018, and the methodology of a Freirian character was based on the three pedagogical moments: initial problematization, organization of knowledge and application of knowledge, together with the articulation of the curricular contents among themselves and the knowledge acquired from the students' experience. The results showed that the change in the environmental perception of the students who carried out the pedagogical practice in both schools, occurred as expected. Therefore, the methodology applied in this research is evaluated as positive for enrichment in the way of transmitting the curricular content and practical possibility of application in the lives of students and in the society to which they belong. Thus, in view of the crisis in the scenario of natural conservation and its resources, the emergence of a more critical, transformative and emancipatory education focused on local actions of a global nature is evident. O processo de desenvolvimento da sociedade trouxe mudan?as socioculturais, afetando nossa percep??o de ambiente, passando a v?-lo como um objeto de uso e extrapolando o limite dos recursos naturais. Frente a este cen?rio, esta pesquisa prop?s por meio da educa??o ambiental formal aplicar propostas pedag?gicas no ensino de ci?ncias de forma pr?tica e ativa, com o uso de tem?tica geradora sociocient?fica a fim de promover a mudan?a da percep??o dos estudantes para a??es sustent?veis e de conserva??o natural. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida em duas escolas p?blicas nos Munic?pios de Pira? e Barra de Pira?, com quatro turmas do 7? ano do ensino fundamental. Foram instrumentos de coleta de dados: an?lise e levantamento de material bibliogr?fico, question?rios e aplica??o de atividades pr?ticas e dissertativas. A pesquisa teve car?ter qualiquanti, com an?lise de conte?do e discurso. A aplica??o do projeto ocorreu durante o per?odo de maio a julho de 2018, e a metodologia de car?ter Freiriano, foi baseada nos tr?s momentos pedag?gicos: problematiza??o inicial, organiza??o do conhecimento e aplica??o do conhecimento, juntamente com a articula??o dos conte?dos curriculares entre si e os saberes adquiridos da viv?ncia dos educandos. Os resultados apontaram que a mudan?a de percep??o ambiental dos educandos que realizaram a pr?tica pedag?gica em ambos os col?gios, ocorreu dentro do esperado. Portanto, a metodologia aplicada nesta pesquisa ? avaliada como positiva para o enriquecimento no modo de como transmitir o conte?do curricular e possibilidade pr?tica de aplica??o na vida dos educandos e na sociedade a que estes pertencem. Assim, diante da crise no cen?rio da conserva??o natural e de seus recursos, evidencia-se a emerg?ncia de uma educa??o mais cr?tica, transformadora e emancipat?ria voltada para a??es locais de cunho global.
