The main goal was to show a floristic inventory of Sapindaceae found at three montane forest remnants in southern Bahia. The first chapter presents an overview of the morphology of the group, based on the species found in the floristic inventory. The second chapter deals with the description of a new species (Paullinia unifoliolata) found in this inventory. The third chapter shows the results of the inventory. Six genera and 21 species were found. Paullinia was the richest genus (7 spp.), followed by Cupania (5 spp.), Allophylus (4 spp.), Matayba and Serjania (2 spp. each) and Talisia (1 sp.). Allophylus leucoclados? Cupania furfuracea, Matayba intermedia and Paullinia micrantha are cited for the first time for the northeastern Brazil. Paullinia unifoliolata, a recently described species from this study, is known from an area between Arataca and Una. Only one specimen wasn?t identified, since it didn?t fit into any of the described species of the genus (Cupania sp. 1). All Cupania species and five Paullinia are restricted to the Atlantic domain. The sampled areas from this study presented the highest species diversity of Sapindaceae for the Atlantic domain, when compared with other studies undertaken in the same domain. Keys of identification for species, descriptions, illustrations, fenological data and taxonomic comments are given for all taxa. Este trabalho apresenta um tratamento taxon?mico de Sapindaceae em remanescentes de florestas montanas do sul da Bahia, Brasil. O objetivo principal foi realizar o levantamento de Sapindaceae em tr?s remanescentes de floresta montana na regi?o sul do estado da Bahia. O primeiro cap?tulo apresenta uma vis?o geral da morfologia do grupo, baseada nas esp?cies amostradas no estudo flor?stico. O segundo cap?tulo trata da descri??o de uma nova esp?cie (Paullinia unifoliolata) encontrada neste invent?rio. O terceiro cap?tulo apresenta o resultado do levantamento flor?stico. Foram encontradas 21 esp?cies em seis g?neros. Paullinia apresentou a maior riqueza de esp?cies (7 spp.), seguido de Cupania (5 spp.), Allophylus (4 spp.), Matayba e Serjania (2 spp. cada) e Talisia (1 sp.). Allophylus leucoclados? Cupania furfuracea, Matayba intermedia e Paullinia micrantha representam novos registros para a regi?o Nordeste. Paullinia unifoliolata, esp?cie rec?m-descrita a partir deste estudo, ? conhecida de uma regi?o entre Arataca e Una. Apenas um esp?cime n?o foi determinado especificamente, por n?o se enquadrar em nenhuma das esp?cies descritas do g?nero (Cupania sp. 1). Todas as esp?cies de Cupania e cinco de Paullinia s?o end?micas do dom?nio Atl?ntico. As ?reas amostradas neste estudo apresentaram a maior diversidade de esp?cies de Sapindaceae para o dom?nio Atl?ntico, em compara??o com outros estudos no mesmo dom?nio. S?o apresentadas chave de identifica??o das esp?cies, descri??es, e informa??es sobre flora??o, frutifica??o, distribui??o geogr?fica e h?bitat.
