EFFECTIVENESS OF CONTEXTUALIZED LEARNING MATERIAL IN TEACHING MOTHER TONGUE 3

This study examined the effectiveness of contextualized learning material in teaching Mother Tongue 3. The subjects were the 33 Grade three learners of Wali Integrated School for the school year 2021-2022. The study used the single group experimental research design, particularly the one group pre-test, post-test experimental design because only one group was used in the study. The pre-test and post-test were administered to the respondents at the first and end of the first quarter before and after they had completed the contextualized learning content respectively. The researcher used a t-test in treating the data. The findings of the study reveal that contextualized learning material in teaching Mother Tongue was effective.
