Contributions of school supervision in the transition of children from early education to elementary education.

In this article, we present an excerpt from our master's thesis defended in October 2022. The objective was to understand how school supervision can contribute to the articulation in the transition process of children between kindergarten and elementary school. The research took place in two units of the Municipal Network of São Paulo, one of early childhood education, and another of elementary education. The methodology was qualitative, using as data collection instruments: versions of meaning written by the participants, records of meetings held by the supervisor/researcher and interviews with teachers, pedagogical coordinators and principal. The data collected indicate that school supervision plays an articulating role between the two stages; Trainer of the management team, in addition to guiding and monitoring the articulation actions, the dispatch and the treatment given to the pedagogical documentation in the transition process. Apresentamos neste artigo um recorte da nossa dissertação de mestrado defendida em outubro de 2022. O objetivo foi compreender como a supervisão escolar pode contribuir para a articulação no processo de transição das crianças entre a educação infantil e o ensino fundamental. A pesquisa ocorreu em duas unidades da Rede Municipal de São Paulo, sendo uma de educação infantil e outra de ensino fundamental. A metodologia foi de cunho qualitativo, tendo como instrumentos de coleta de dados: versões de sentido escritas pelos participantes, registros dos encontros realizados pela supervisora/pesquisadora e entrevistas com os professores, coordenadoras pedagógicas e diretora. Os dados coletados apontam que a supervisão escolar exerce papel de: articulador entre as duas etapas, formador da equipe gestora, além de orientar e acompanhar as ações de articulação, a expedição e o tratamento que são dados à documentação pedagógica no processo de transição.
