نبذة مختصرة : Chronic kidney disease is due to different causes and its recognition is important for its association with an increased cardiovascular risk. This risk is increased in association with chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular disease. At the same time, this chronic pathology is mainly managed in Primary Health Care. The determination of plasma creatinine, to be able to use formulas derived from it, for the calculation of the estimated glomerular filtrate and the determination of albumin in urine expressed with the albumin / creatine quotient, are the analytical parameters available of Primary Care to be able to screen early for chronic kidney disease, its diagnosis and follow - up. From the screening and diagnosis of chronic kidney disease we can know its prevalence. This study is important in young adult population for the impact on overall morbidity and mortality associated with chronic kidney disease
