Les plasticiennes et le Mouvement de Libération des Femmes dans l’entre-deux-mai français

The plasticians women and the feminist movement of liberation in french “entre-deux-moi”. The 1970’s saw the resurgence of a strong political involvement of artists, men and women, and a strong feminist involvement. This article analyses the meeting between the artistic and socio-political movements across the place and the creation of plasticians women in Lrance. Some figures can first help to identify their place on the artistic scene, whose sexism then highlighted leads to the formation of feminist collectives. In a second time, the analysis focuses on a few works representative of the dominant themes : private lives and materials coming from female learning ; art and body or getting rid of the standards by performance ; finally, public space and language, deconstruction work of gaze assumptions. The works selected include a feminist involvement, questioning the gender identity constructions and the place of women in society, by using materials from a female inheritance or by appropriating in an innovative way those used in contemporary art.

Cet article analyse la rencontre entre les mouvements artistique et socio-politique à travers la place et la création des plasticiennes en Lrance. Quelques chiffres permettent tout d’abord de cerner leur place sur la scène artistique, dont le sexisme alors mis en évidence amène la constitution de collectifs féministes. En un second temps, l’analyse porte sur quelques œuvres représentatives des thématiques dominantes : vies privées et matériaux issus de l’apprentissage féminin ; art et corps ou la libération des normes par les performances ; enfin, espace public et langage, un travail de déconstruction des présupposés du regard. Les œuvres choisies contiennent une implication féministe, questionnent les constructions identitaires sexuées et la place des femmes dans la société, en employant des matériaux issus d’un héritage féminin ou en s’appropriant de manière novatrice ceux utilisés en art contemporain.
