État social et assurance maladie. Une approche par l’économie des convention

This article proposes a conventionalist interpretation of the political economy of health. It criticises the conception of the welfare state as a manipulator of incentives as well as the reduction of values to interests. It goes on to propose an alternative conception of the state as instituting common worlds that integrate a plurality of values.
Cet article propose une lecture conventionnaliste de la politique économique en santé et de ses incidences. Il critique une conception de l’État social comme manipulateur d’incitations qui réduit les valeurs à l’intérêt et l’oppose à une conception alternative de l’État comme insti(tuteur) de mondes communs, qui permet d’intégrer la pluralité des valeurs.
