A management device used in a grid computing system is configured to execute compensation calculation processing of calculating a first compensation and a second compensation with respect to execution of a computational job by a computing device of a user, and stores evaluation values each set for a respective one of a plurality of computational jobs, wherein the compensation calculation processing includes: a first processing of calculating a first compensation value of the first compensation according to a computational amount of computational processing; and second processing of calculating and storing a second compensation value of the second compensation according to a relevant one of the evaluation values, wherein management device is configured to, in the first processing, calculate the first compensation value to have a larger value, as a cumulative value of the second compensation values which have been previously stored has a larger value.

1. A management device used in a grid computing system in which the management device causes a computing device of a user connected thereto via a communication network to computationally process a computational job selected from a plurality of computational jobs by the user, wherein the management device is configured to execute compensation calculation processing of calculating a first compensation and a second compensation to be given to the user with respect to execution of the selected computational job by the computing device of the user, the management device storing a plurality of evaluation values each set to a respective one of the plurality of computational jobs, wherein the compensation calculation processing comprises: first processing of calculating a first compensation value of the first compensation to be given to the user according to a computational amount of computational processing executed for the selected computational job; and second processing of calculating and storing a second compensation value of the second compensation to be given to the user according to the evaluation value set for the selected computational job, and wherein the management device is configured to, in the first processing, calculate the first compensation value to have a larger value, as a cumulative value of the second compensation values which have been previously calculated and stored has a larger value.

2. The management device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the management device is configured to provide the evaluation values of the plurality of computational jobs to the user via the communication network.

3. The management device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first compensation is set as a compensation convertible to a currency value, and the second compensation is set as a compensation inconvertible to a currency value.

The management device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the management device accepts, from the user via the communication network, a selection of the computational job to which the computational processing of the computing device is to be provided, and causes the computing device to execute the computational processing of the selected computational job.

5. The management device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the management device calculates the second compensation value by multiplying a total computational amount provided to the selected computational job by the evaluation value for the selected computational job.

6. The management device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the management device calculates and stores the cumulative value of the second compensation values which have been given to the user.

The management device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first compensation value is a sum of a basic compensation value and an additional compensation value, wherein the basic compensation value is calculated as a value proportional to the computational amount, and the additional compensation value is calculated to have a larger value as the cumulative value of the second compensation values has a larger value.

The management device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first compensation value is calculated by multiplying the computational amount by a compensation factor, wherein the compensation factor is set to have a larger value as the cumulative value of the second compensation values has a larger value.

9. A management method used in a grid computing system in which a management device causes a computing device of a user connected thereto via a communication network to computationally process a computational job selected from a plurality of computational jobs by the user, the management method comprising: a step of storing, by the management device, a plurality of evaluation values each set to a respective one of the plurality of computational jobs; and a compensation calculation step of calculating, by the management device, a first compensation and a second compensation to be given to the user with respect to execution of the selected computational job by the computing device of the user, wherein the compensation calculation step includes: a first step of calculating, by the management device, a first compensation value of the first compensation to be given to the user according to a computational amount of computational processing executed for the selected computational job; and a second step of calculating and storing, by the management device, a second compensation value of the second compensation to be given to the user according to the evaluation value set for the selected computational job, wherein in the first processing, the first compensation value is calculated to have a larger value, as a cumulative value of the second compensation values which have been previously calculated and stored has a larger value.
