COVID-19 has changed people's lives all over the world in the last two years, including educational system reform, which has transformed traditional learning into modular and modified to newly implemented "New Normal Learning," also known as "Online learning," in which technology is used for instruction delivery to maintain educational continuity and avoid academic freeze. Furthermore, the Department of Education reopens face-to-face classes and introduces blended learning, which is a transition between online and face-to-face classes that combines online and classroom experiences while still using technology to aid in both deliveries of instructions. This study aims to contribute to the general body of knowledge by providing a better understanding into the importance, drawbacks, and benefits of the impact of blended learning on fifth-grade academic performance. The research study focused on the academic performance of grade 5 learners at San Bartolome Elementary School, of which forty (40) respondents were sampled through cluster sampling. The major tool used by the researcher in gathering the data was Likert scale survey questionnaires. The majority of the respondents were using cellphones (67.5%). There are fewer challenges encountered in blended learning. In terms of gadgets, communication, and modules, in terms of internet connection/data the respondents in blended learning typically face difficulties with a total average weighted mean of 3.77 interpreted as “Neutral”. The findings also shown in the teaching and learning environment of blended learning, it has a positive impact on face-to-face learning, online learning, and collaborative learning. And lastly findings described by the respondents as agree wherein blended learning is effective in their academic performance in terms of written tasks, performance tasks, and motivation.
