نبذة مختصرة : Bu çalışmanın amacı; yaratıcı endüstrilerin ekonomideki yerlerinin belirlenmesi ve bu çerçeve dahilinde sinema sektörünün tarihsel süreç içerisinde göstermiş olduğu iktisadi performansının incelenmesidir. Bu ekonomik performans ortaya koyulur iken, gerek endüstrinin gerekse de sinemanın gelişiminde rol alan tarihsel, sosyal, siyasal, kültürel ve teknolojik koşulların etkilerinden ister istemez bahsedilmek durumunda kalınacaktır. Bahis konusu bu faktörler, sinemanın endüstrileşme yolunda kat ettiği mesafelerin temel yapı taşlarını oluşturmakta, aynı zamanda kültür endüstrisinin ekonomik etkilerinin güçlenmesine neden olmaktadır.Bu çalışmada; öncelikle fikri mülkiyet hakları hakkında öz bir bilgilendirmede bulunulmuş, daha sonrasında kültür endüstrisi genel çerçevede irdelenmiştir. Dünyada ve Türkiye’de yaratıcı endüstrilerin ekonomik yapıdaki yerleri tartışılmış ve bu konu hakkında istatistiki bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Kültür endüstrilerinin önemli bir alt sektörü olan sinemanın; tarihsel, sosyal, kültürel ve teknolojik gelişimi iktisadi bir perspektifte ele alınmış olup aynı zamanda ülke ve dünya bazında film endüstrisine sağlanan teşviklerin önemi ortaya koyulmuştur. This study aims to determine the roles of the creative industries within the economy; and in this context studies the economic performance of the cinema sector during history. While demonstrating this performance, it is a must to mention about the effects of the historical, social, political, cultural and technological circumstances.These factors are the fundamentals of the cinema’s way to industrialization, while they cause the effects of the culture industry to strengthen.In this study, first of all, the copyrights are discussed in the abstract, then the culture industry is analyzed within the general framework. The places of the creative industries in economy, both in world and Turkey scales are discussed and statistical data is supplied with regard to the phenomena. Historical, social, cultural and technological development of the cinema which is an important sub division of the culture industry is studied within an economic framework meanwhile demonstrating the importance of the promotions to the film industry on the country-wide and nation-wide basis.
