Redes de empresas no rio grande do sul: Uma análise de resultados competitivos e fatores de desenvolvimento

Mudanças no ambiente concorrencial estimularam o desenvolvimento de estratégias interorganizacionais, nas quais organizações cooperam para se tornarem mais competitivas. No Rio Grande do Sul existem atualmente mais de 120 redes horizontais de empresas, criadas com o apoio governamental ou a partir de iniciativas autônomas dos empresários. Este trabalho, a partir de um estudo de casos múltiplos, teve como objetivo identificar e analisar os resultados competitivos e os fatores que estimulam ou restringem a formação e desenvolvimento de redes interorganizacionais no Rio Grande do Sul, em um total de 87 empresas de diferentes regiões do Estado, pertencentes a quatro redes. Reconhecimento da empresa no mercado, melhorias de gestão e menores preços de compra foram os resultados competitivos mais significativos gerados pelas redes. Verificou-se também que esses resultados competitivos foram influenciados principalmente pelos fatores identificados como cultura de colaboração dos empresários participantes e aspectos organizacionais do empreendimento coletivo, ocorrendo um reforço mútuo entre os fatores descritos.
Changes in the competitive environment stimulated the development of interorganizational strategies in which some firms cooperate to become more competitive. In Rio Grande do Sul, there are currently more than 120 horizontal cooperation networks created with the government support or by autonomous enterprises. This study, based on a multiple case study, aimed to identify and analyze the competitive results and the factors that stimulate or restrict the establishment and development of interorganizational networks in Rio Grande do Sul. It was considered 87 firms from different regions in the state that belong to 4 different networks. Recognition at the market, improvement in management and lower purchase prices were the most relevant competitive results generated by the networks. These competitive results were mainly influenced by the culture of collaboration among the participant entrepreneurs and by the interorganizational aspects of the collective enterprise. It was also verified that these factors reinforce each other.
