El paisaje amenazante de la producción de conocimiento científico en educación bajo el capitalismo cognitivo

The paper analyses the trend towards the commodification of science in educational research, revealing the links with neoliberal educational reforms and absolutist aims of official research. Cognitive capitalism increases the State´s eagerness to control educational research and the greed of knowledge enterprises. It encourages restrictive changes that disregard established research methodologies, such as those that employ qualitative approaches and silence alternative ways of seeing the world and education, very different from positivist canons and the new ideologies of human capital.
El artículo analiza la tendencia hacia la mercantilización de la ciencia en la investigación en Educación, mostrando su relación con las reformas educativas neoliberales y con las pretensiones absolutistas de la investigación oficial. El capitalismo cognitivo ampara las ansias del Estado por controlar la investigación en Educación y la avaricia de las empresas del conocimiento. Espolea cambios restrictivos que desprecian formas bien asentadas de investigar, especialmente aquellas que hacen uso de metodologías cualitativas y silencian formas alternativas de ver el mundo y la Educación, alejadas de los cánones positivistas y de las nuevas ideologías del capital humano.
