      ResumenLas funciones especiales en física matemática, son funciones solución de ecuaciones diferenciales ordinarias, que modelan diversos problemas en matemáticas, y son aplicadas en física para abordar problemas en astronomía, mecánica clásica, mecánica cuántica y fluidos, entre otras. A lo largo del texto, se discutirán algunas de estas funciones, desde el contexto histórico, la forma de encontrar sus soluciones y su representación como ecuación autoadjunta. Además, se mostrará el desarrollo de una interfaz gráfica en Python, que permite graficar de forma sencilla estas funciones. AbstractThe special functions of mathematical physics are solutions of ordinary differential equations modelling various problems in mathematics and they are applied in physics to solve problems of Astronomy, Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, and Fluids, among others. Throughout the text, we will discuss some of these functions from the historic context, the way to find their solutions and its representation as auto-adjoined operators. Furthermore, we will show a graphic interface developed in Python that allows to easily graph these functions.
