      The paper presents the results of a study that aimed to understand the teaching concept of the teachers of the Mathematics Degree at the Center for Higher Studies in Parintins, State University of Amazonas and to identify a possible distinction in the concept of teaching practice among the course's instructors. Therefore, in a qualitative approach, thematic oral history was used based on the narrative interview of ten trainers. According to the results obtained, we can infer that there is no distinction in the conception of teaching practice between licensed and/or bachelor's trainers, and that, in their teaching practices, the transmission of content still predominates.
      O trabalho apresenta resultados de um estudo que teve como objetivo, compreender a concepção de docência dos formadores da Licenciatura em Matemática do Centro de Estudos Superiores de Parintins, Universidade do Estado do Amazonas e identificar possível distinção na concepção de prática docente entre formadores do curso. Para tanto, numa abordagem qualitativa utilizou-se história oral temática com base na entrevista narrativa de dez formadores. De acordo com os resultados obtidos podemos inferir que, não há distinção na concepção de prática docente entre formadores lincenciados e/ou bacharéis, e que, em suas práticas docentes ainda predominam a transmissão de conteúdos.
