U članku autor ispituje mogućnosti primjene teorije kaosa i kompleksiteta — dvije subdiscipline u sklopu nelinearne dinamike — na područje primijenjenih društvenih disciplina, posebno socijalnog rada. U društvenim znanostima koje se bave ljudskim ponašanjem postalo je očigledno da se neke pojave i procesi ne mogu više objasniti s aspekta tradicionalne pozitivističke metodologije. Linearni i deterministički odnosi te njihovi kauzalni modeli kojima se desetljećima pokušava objasniti funkcioniranje mikro i makro sustava postupno su ustupili mjesto novim perspektivama koje pruža teorija tzv. »determinističkog kaosa«. Ove specifične pristupe, koji su se tek nedavno pojavili u sastavu sustavne teorije, autor pokušava primijeniti na područje obiteljskog i grupnog socijalnog rada te socijalnog rada u organiziranju zajednice.
In this article the author examines the possibility of the application of the theory of chaos and complexity – two sub–disciplines in the framework of non–linear dynamics – in the field of applied social disciplines, especially of social work. Within social science that deal with human behaviour, it has become obvious that some processes and phenomena could not be explained any more from the aspect of traditional positivistic methodology. Linear and deterministic relations and their causative models, by means of which the functioning of micro and macro systems has been tried to be explained for decades, gradually ceded their place to mew perspectives which have been given by the theory of the so–called “deterministic chaos”. These specific approaches that have appeared only recently within the framework of the systems theory, the author tries to apply in the field of family and group social work, and the social work of organising community.
Untersucht werden Möglichkeiten der Anwendung der Chaos– und Komplexitätstheorie als zwei Subdisziplinen im Rahmen der nichtlinearen Dynamik auf den Bereich der angewandten Gesellschaftsfächer, in erster Linie auf den Bereich der Sozialarbeit. In den Gesellschaftswissenschaften, die sich mit menschlichem Verhalten beschäftigen, ist offensichtlich geworden, daß sich einige Erscheinungen und Prozesse nicht mehr unter dem Aspekt einer traditionellen positivistischen Methodologie erklären lassen. Lineare und deterministische Verhältnisse sowie ihre Erklärungsmodelle, mit deren Hilfe schon seit Jahrzenten versucht wird, das Funktionieren des Mikro– und Makrosystems zu erklären, werden allmählich durch neue Perspektiven ersetzt, die die Theorie des sogenannten “deterministischen Chaos” bietet. Der Autor versucht, diese spezifischen Zugangsweisen, die erst neulich im Rahmen der Systemtheorie aufgekommen sind, auf den Bereich der Familien– und Gruppensozialarbeit und der Sozialarbeit beim Organisieren der Gemeinschaft anzuwenden.
