      • Influenza quarantine now completely lifted, effective today. • “Dr. T. H. Baker, City Health Officer, announced this morning that the disease is so thoroughly under control that any further measures to curtail the pleasure of the children would be an unjust burden.”• The ban was supposed to be lifted on Saturday but reports from throughout the city were tardy and Dr. Baker was hesitant to lift the ban prematurely, for fear there was still a part of Louisville where influenza was present.
