Moudrost Odysseova: Jak dospět v muže pod nadvládou žen? (The Wisdom of Odysseus: How to Become a Man Under the Domination of Women?)

In the context of archaic wisdom, the article deals with the phenomenon of acme as the central point in the life of an ancient Greek man. In the first part, Iliad and Odyssey are compared with the conclusion that while the wisdom of Iliad is directed to a young man in the first half of his life, the message of Odyssey is addressed to the men at their best age. In the second part, the author suggests that Odysseus probably might be in this age and that his greatest task on his way to himself is to cope with the manipulative (Circe) and possessive (Calypso) form of a woman.
