      This article focuses on the sculpture of the Virgin of Sorrows from the monastery of Nuestra Señora de Consolación at Triana in Seville. According to the style of the sculpture, is here attributed to Blas Molner (1738-1812). The work helps to see as the iconographical model was used by the author in relation to others sculptures with the same subject already known.
