نبذة مختصرة : En este artículo analizo el proceso de inclusión educativa de la niñez migrante haitiana en Tapachula, Chiapas, México. A través de una etnografía escolar presento las barreras sociales, culturales y pedagógicas por las que atraviesa esta niñez. Realizo un breve recuento contextual de los flujos migratorios, que resalta el aspecto multicultural de la región, así como un acercamiento al saber y quehacer docente dentro de la vida cotidiana escolar. Concluyo que, pese a ser la región una zona diversa culturalmente, la adversidad y las barreras pedagógicas que presenta la educación básica reflejan una distancia entre la teoría y la práctica, siendo el aula multicultural una realidad que precisa ser abordada. Migration and education: School ethnography of the educational inclusion process of Haitian children in Tapachula, Chiapas Abstract In this article I analyze the process of educational inclusion of Haitian migrant children in Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico. Through a school ethnography I present the social, cultural and pedagogical barriers that this childhood goes through. A brief contextual account of migratory flows is made, which highlights the multicultural aspect of the region, as well as an approach to teaching knowledge and work within daily school life. It is concluded that, despite the region being a culturally diverse area, the adversity and pedagogical barriers that basic education presents reflect a distance between theory and practice, with the multicultural classroom being a reality that needs to be addressed.
