نبذة مختصرة : The work describes the research process and some of the research findings that may be useful in drawing separate criminal law and even criminological conclusions. Purpose: to determine the behavior patterns of citizens when using mobile applications, in particular dating applications, and to identify criminal regulations, the violation of which can be committed when their illegality is not obvious. Methods: theoretical methods of formal and dialectical logic; specific scientific methods: legaldogmatic and interpretation of legal norms. A special place in the research methodology is given to the method of legal modeling, through which the developed methodological recommendations are verified. In addition to specific legal methods, methods of sociological research are used: survey, its analysis, method of expert assessments, etc. Results: persons over 26 years of age, as opposed to respondents between the ages of 18 and 26, are much more likely to use dating applications and twice as likely to send their own explicit images to others, which predetermines the existence of relevant criminal risks.
