نبذة مختصرة : This paper investigates the Romanian legislative framework regarding land fund management and its effects on the agricultural sector from an economic perspective. The research addresses the question of how current land fund legislation impacts agricultural productivity, with the hypothesis that improvements in legislation could enhance agricultural efficiency. The main objectives include identifying relevant legal acts, analyzing agricultural challenges, and proposing legislative amendments to support sustainable farming. Methodologically, the study incorporates both a qualitative assessment of legal provisions and the presentation of key statistical data. The findings highlight the need for legislative reforms to reduce land fragmentation, enhance farmer cooperation, and ensure better alignment between legal frameworks and economic realities. These results are particularly relevant given the concerns surrounding food security and sustainable agricultural practices in Romania.
