Aspectos jurídicos del espacio europeo de datos de turismo

In the tourism sector, access, use and exchange of data is key due to the potential of the data economy, and because the vocation of a regional organization such as the European Union is precisely the internal market. And this is so because the free movement of production factors also includes data, whether personal, non-personal or mixed. The need to guarantee the free circulation of data, through the European data spaces, obliges us to consider the legal perspective, having to assess the existence of tourist, personal, non-personal or mixed data, as well as high value data, all of this around principles such as data sovereignty, privacy, security, interoperability and proportionality. This article analyzes all these issues, while proposing the design and construction of an architecture for tourism data spaces.
