      Context. Reducing social inequalities in health (ISS) is a WHO priority. One of the levers of action is health literacy (HL). A creative writing working groups project to improve HL was conducted in a health hub. Goal. To explore what these working groups have given rise for their participants. Method. The participants were identified as persons with a low level of LS. This study analyzed the points of view of the different workshops’ actors by a inducto-deductive qualitative method. The sample was consisted by participants who completed at least two working groups, the formator, their entourage and their doctor. Triangulation of collection methods was performed using participant observations from working groups and semi-directed interviews. Data analysis has been made with an way and with the creation of phenomenological stories. Results. 12 interviews and 4 participant observations have been made. These working groups had given rise for their participants to a positive linguistic evolution. They also have triggered an improvement of their esteem, their confidence, their autonomy and their socialization. It was also found a global improvement in health. These different elements were strongly linked and did not evolve in a linear way. Conclusion. Creative writing working groups can be part of actions leading to a reduction of ISS. They can be an example to follow for other local initiatives but they need to be improved in order to better meet the participants’ needs. ; Contexte. La réduction des inégalités sociales de santé (ISS) est une priorité de l’OMS. Un des leviers d’action possible est la littératie en santé (LS). Un projet d’ateliers d’écriture créative dans le but d’améliorer la LS a été mené dans un pôle de santé. Objectif. Explorer ce que ces ateliers ont suscité chez ses participants. Méthode. Les participants étaient des personnes identifiées comme ayant un faible niveau de LS.
