نبذة مختصرة : During puberty, there is an increase in hormones and, subsequently, the development of secondary sexual characteristics. Sexuality is related to the nature of human beings, being a construction of society, linked to the cultures and environments in which they live. Affective relationships increase during this phase, which strengthens the arrival of sexual desire and motivates romantic and erotic practices. Objective: to analyze how nursing care has been for children and adolescents. Methodology: The methodology used in this study is an integrative review of the literature with a descriptive approach, with content analysis as its primary characteristic, which synthesized and grouped the results obtained in important research on the topic outlined in previous articles. Result: 08 articles relevant to the chosen theme were synthesized. Conclusion: Although most teenagers have easy access to information and knowledge, it is essential to have a trustworthy conversation with a person qualified to guide them about their sexuality. It is very important that nurses acquire scientific knowledge and skills in well-developed conversations and know how to deal with the new ideas and patterns of adolescents so that they can have a good exchange of ideas in this way that highlights the sexual awareness of young people, which benefits knowledge, with regard to right and wrong. ; Durante a puberdade, há um aumento de hormônios e, consequentemente, o desenvolvimento de características sexuais secundárias.
