نبذة مختصرة : 15 páginas : fotografías ; A 2 years, quarterhorse mare was Hospital for Equinos in the Facultad of Estudios Superiores in the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Cuautitlán, Mexico. Anamnesis: Charreria horse, with a 5/5 lameness after his round of work. Radiology and clinical findings: increase in rectal temperature, tachycardia, tachypnea, in the radiological study there was a line of fracture in 3rd phalanx type II is observed: oblique articular fracture of the right palmar process. Therapeutic approach: A surgical treatment is established consisting of placing a screw at a level of the third phalanx. Conclusions: According to the anamnesis and clinical consultations are determined as a fracture in the third phalanx and with the treatment of their condition improve progressively ; Una yegua cuarto de milla de 2 años fue atendida en el Hospital para Equinos de la Facultad de Estudios Superiores de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Cuautitlán, Estado de México. Anamnesis: Caballo de charrería, se encontraba en picadero y comenzó a claudicar en grado 5/5 después de su ronda de trabajo. Hallazgos Clínicos y radiológicos: aumento de la temperatura rectal, taquicardia, taquipnea, en el estudio radiológico se observa línea de fractura en 3ra falange tipo II: fractura articular oblicua de la apófisis palmar derecha. Aproximación terapéutica: Se instauró un tratamiento quirúrgico el cual consistente en colocar un tornillo a nivel de la línea de fractura en la tercera falange Conclusiones: Según la anamnesis y las manifestaciones clínicas se determinó como diagnóstico fractura en tercera falange y con el tratamiento su condición mejoró progresivamente ; Pregrado ; Médico(a) Veterinario Zootecnista
