According to the Oxford English Dictionary, AI can be defined as the ability of computers, or other machines, to display or simulate intelligent behavior; being designed to produce results, which was previously associated with human intelligence. In the current era of the fourth industrial revolution, characterised by an exponential increase in the digitalization of society and the economy, we have seen a transformation in healthcare.
