A ética nos cursos de formação de tradutores intérpretes nas instituições de ensino superior no Brasil ; Ethics in training courses for translators and interpreters at higher education institutions in Brazil

The discussion about ethics and the space it occupies in the training of the translator/interpreter in higher education institutions in Brazil is the object of study in this work. The research, of a descriptive nature, presents a sampling on the subject based on the records of the National Register of Courses and Institutions of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education. The consultation exposed the institutions that offer undergraduate programs for training translators and interpreters and those that have systematic teaching of professional ethics in their curriculum or in their courses. The theoretical framework was based on some concepts of ethics and their approach by some authors and scholars of translation and interpretation, highlighting themes that permeate contemporary debates in the area, such as the role of the translator/interpreter as a cultural mediator and the understanding of fidelity and loyalty. The work also observed the main principles established in the codes of ethics of the translator/interpreter professions and the authorship legislation in the country. Finally, supported by some researchers in the area, the work highlights the importance of incorporating ethics in the curricula of institutions for the training of translators/interpreters, in search of their professional development. ; Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação) ; RESUMO A discussão sobre a ética e o espaço que ela ocupa na formação do tradutor e do intérprete em instituições de ensino superior no Brasil é o objeto de exame deste trabalho.
