نبذة مختصرة : This reserch; It aims to examine the news about children, children's rights and childhood images in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus print media. Sub-goals were determined in accordance with the main purpose of the research. These; To evaluate according to which images children are presented in the analyzed news, the situation in which they are qualified, the information they are exposed, the categories of rights they are in, and their childhood images. In the research, among qualitative research designs; case study pattern was used. The sample of the research; It is creates 8 newspapers that are published daily in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and do not have a political orientation. Document analysis method was used in the examination of newspapers. News from the news archives on the websites of the newspapers with the keywords "Child and Children's Rights" from 01.01.2019 to 01.01.2020 have been recorded. The recorded newspaper news were collected systematically with the "Newspaper News Coding Form" created by the researcher. It was arranged by taking the opinions of 7 experts knowledgeable in the field of "Newspaper News Coding Form". For the reliability of the form; the researcher and the thesis supervisor analyzed the randomly selected news in different places according to the "Newspaper News Coding Form", in parallel with each other. According to the findings of the research; In the examined newspapers, the most forensic news was found. As a result of the research; It has been determined that children are generally presented with victim and victim representations in negative situations such as abuse, neglect and accident. In the study, it was found that national news covered more than international news. In addition, it was revealed that children were mostly presented positively in news content.
