Riscos ocupacionais em fiscais de saúde pública na cidade de Goiânia: um estudo piloto ; Occupational risks faced by the inspectors of public health in the city of Goiânia

The inspectors of public health are professional of the health of the most diverse areas, which are occupied with the supervision of the establishments that provides services to the community. The study intended to investigate the occupational risks that the inspectors who act in the city of Goiânia are exposed to. Transversal study, realized in the Department of Municipal Sanitary Surveillance whose population consisted of inspectors of public health. The instrument used for the collection of the data was the questionnaire that investigated the occurrence of occupational accidents and illnesses between the participants. It was detected the contact with infectum-contagious materials, agent radioactive, automobile accidents and LRE. Occupational aggression of the contributors to the inspectors was also detected. It was concluded that, as well as other professionals, the inspectors are exposed to the risks, being prevalent the biological, physical and the occupational violence. It is recommended studies in the direction of searching alternatives capable to reduce the violence suffered by the professionals in the performance of its activities. Objetivo foi investigar os riscos ocupacionais a que estão sujeitos os fiscais que atuam na cidade de Goiânia-GO. Estudo transversal, realizado no Departamento de Vigilância Sanitária Municipal cuja população constituiu-se de fiscais de saúde pública. O instrumento utilizado para a coleta dos dados foi o questionário que investigava a ocorrência de acidentes e doenças ocupacionais entre os participantes.
