Efectos del cannabis en una muestra universitaria : atención, memoria, creatividad y ansiedad ; Effects of cannabis in a university sample: attention, memory, creativity and anxiety

El presente estudio pretende describir los efectos del consumo frecuente de cannabis sobre los procesos cognitivos superiores como atención, memoria y creatividad, así como la posible influencia de parámetros ansiógenos. A tal efecto se han comparado los resultados obtenidos en la ejecución de una batería específica de pruebas de sujetos consumidores habituales de cannabis y no consumidores. También se reflejan las diferencias relativas al género. Entre las pruebas empleadas están incluidos un cuestionario general sociodemográfico, el Inventario de Ansiedad Estado/Rasgo (STAI E-R), el test de aprendizaje verbal/auditivo de Rey Verbal (TAVR), una prueba de atención sostenida y una variante del test de creatividad CREA. El análisis de los resultados obtenidos indica que existen diferencias significativas en algunos de los procesos cognitivos evaluados, aunque no pueden ser considerados concluyentes. Por tanto, esta investigación no consigue igualar los resultados de algunos estudios previos similares, aunque concuerda parcialmente con otros estudios que refuerzan la existencia de diferencias en algunas variables y su ausencia en otras. ; This study describes the effects of frequent cannabis use on higher cognitive processes such as attention, memory and creativity, and the possible influence of anxiogenic parameters. For this purpose, we have compared the results obtained in the execution of a specific battery of tests by heavy cannabis users and nonusers. Also reflect gender-related differences. Among the tests used are included a general demographic questionnaire, the State/Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), Rey Auditory Verbal Learning Test (RAVLT), a test of sustained attention and a variant of CREA creativity test.
