نبذة مختصرة : Introduction: to overcome the lack of doctors in France, the 2016 Health System Modernization Act focus the health system on community care through the deployment of territorial professional health communities (CPTS). The role of CPTS is to bring together health actors to develop projects to address the challenges of a region. Access to a doctor and the support of professionals are missions to improve the healthcare pathway for patients. Objective: this study aimed to understand how CPTS leaders imagine their role in supporting the integration of young doctors in their region, in the “Alpes Maritimes” in France. Methods: we conducted a qualitative descriptive study through individual semi-structured interviews with members of CPTS in the “Alpes Maritimes”. Results: the seventeen participants consider their region as an area with lack of doctors, currently or soon. The transition between retiring and young doctors is not enough established. Isolated practice is becoming rare, and working conditions differ between the two generations. Group work is recognized as a key factor for young doctors integration. CPTS aim to enhance region’s attractiveness by analyzing the healthcare needs and subsequently making proposals to institutions. A work with medical school can be interesting for the interns, to raise awareness about regional issues. Personalized support by CPTS would make young doctors integration easier. Conclusion: support and the enhancement of the region's attractiveness by CPTS could facilitate the integration of young doctors. Some projects are in development, and assessing their impact on doctors would be relevant in the future. However, the appeal of alternative practice models and the lack of recognition for private practice still contribute to the shortage of primary care physicians. ; Introduction : pour lutter contre la désertification médicale en France, la loi de modernisation du système de santé de 2016 recentre le système de santé sur des soins de proximité grâce au déploiement des communautés ...
