Descruza os braços e gira: saberes e escrevivências na Umbanda. ; Discover the arms and turn: knowledge and scribes in Umbanda.

This Doctoral thesis aims to reflect about how the umbandista culture has a knowledge production space through the Cute Umbanda as na expression. Of this knowledge and part of next questions: Wich knowlede is manifested through the bodies in the Cute Umbanda and in the education? What are the possible relationships between research writing, manifest knowledge trhough the bodies in the Cute Umbandas and the education? Assuming the inicial comprehension that Cute Umbandas in their two ways , as a meting of umbandistas for the achievement of religious rituals, as well as moviement of the body of the mediums through the Cute prepair theirselves tho receive the spiritual entity in their different forms. The Thesis is presented in three cute ways, the first is showed the methodologic way to be use; the second Cute, the theoretical framework that support the writting of the thesis; by the end, the third Cute, the reflection about the work fulfilled. The methodologic way is inspired by observant participation of Loïc Waquant (2002) and in the judicial processes of Conceição Evaristo (2047;2017a). From de epistemological point of view, search to understand and affirm the knwoledge production through, unique and plural ethical and aesthetic. Search show that Cute Umbanda propose a specific aesthetic, The Asthetic Cute, that is the place/time showed the unique knowledges of a religion that hasa own pedagogy. Reaffirms and follows the path proposed by Oliveira (2001;2008) where the spistemology relates to “ the seduction game” that culture promotes acording to its own contexto and meanings. Thus, the proposed thesis conceives that the body in the Cute Umbanda is an allegory that allows to access a unique way of knowledge.
