Rivington of the C.M.S., on which suitable records were played. The emotiont.l climax of the music came during the Hallelujah Chorus for the triumphal entry into the temple and Handel's "Lift Up Your Heads, U Ye Gates" at the final scene of the ascension. The film is pretty well worn as a result and two reels will need to be replaced if it is to continue to be shown. A series of comments is attached in the appendix. No objections were raised to the film. One threatened opposition on the part of some Jews and Mohammedans from Alex-andria failed to materialize although the American Legation was concerned for a few days. "Save the Qes" film: It was a great satisfaction to complete this film finally last fall. Three reels were made in Cairo. When tìiese were combined with the two reels made especially by the Eastman Teaching Films, an interest-ing program was possible. Copies of the film have been sent to America, Cal-cutta and Osaka at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Mather. Inquiries about it have also been received from Malta and Turkey. A few exhibitions of it were held in Cairo as covered by the appended report, a total of 3235 people having seen it. Coming as it did after the "King of Kings", it failed to attract as much attention as if it had been a feature of the year. We intend to use it for schools next year. Village Health Contests: Popular interest in these contests increased greatly last summer. The Boys' contest was the most successful et held. It being the first time that the Girls had held a contest, their reports suffered in contrast to the boys', but it was no small achievement to find 12 girls who would carry through a program of this kind in Egypt. Some exceedingly fine work was done by certain students of the Medical School in Mit Yaish Village.
