Epigenetica e 'fetal programming' in gravidanze complicate da disturbi metabolici: interventi nutrizionali e nutraceutici

Questo lavoro di tesi è stato focalizzato sull'analisi approfondita dell’interconnessione tra i disturbi metabolici materni e le conseguenti modifiche nel profilo epigenetico del feto, esaminando in particolare l'impatto a lungo termine di tali alterazioni sulla salute del nascituro. L’obiettivo di questo elaborato è fornire una panoramica esaustiva degli interventi nutrizionali e nutraceutici, in grado di mitigare gli effetti negativi di tali influenze. This thesis focused on an in-depth analysis of the interconnection between maternal metabolic disorders and the resulting changes in the fetal epigenetic profile, specifically examining the long-term impact of such alterations on the health of the unborn child. The goal of this paper is to provide a comprehensive overview of nutritional and nutraceutical interventions that can mitigate the negative effects of these influences.
