We note a certain invariance in universal processes such as the evolution of the universe, creative thought, the constitution of impressions and of the body . These creative processes have a non-objective and invisible origin and lead to an objectivation. Given this invariance, the idea underlying the essay we are proposing is to take advantage of in-depth studies in phenomenology of the constitution of impressions and of the phenomenal body (which feels) with a view to a better understanding of the universal evolution. We rely particularly on the phenomenology of Michel Henry. For this philosopher, the origin of the process of the constitution of impressions and of the body is represented by a metaphor which consists of a thrust of atemporal, non-biological Life, on a resistant continuous inherent in this latter. The same metaphor can be generalized to evolution unfolding to subjectivity and inter-subjectivity. Life, which is timeless, is present not only at the origin, but constantly in the course of evolution. Its essence is to grow more and more in its manifestation. We suggest that Life is the source of coherence. This, which is outside space-time and therefore non-objective, has already manifested itself, thanks to the immanence of Life, in the evolution leading to the inert matter which is the object of physical. Quantum mechanics, which is, as it should be, an objective scientific theory, is based on coherence, itself non-objective. This cannot therefore be justified by quantum theory itself. In order to save the objectivity of quantum mechanics, coherence must be considered in this theory as an a priori or a principle.
