نبذة مختصرة : On intend to answer questions about the training of Physical Education teachers with focus on working with students with disabilities, through the responses of 96 teachers from the state education network in the west of the state of Paraná, we sought to highlight the subject studied in graduation, specifies that it deals with this topic. The study was characterized as a qualitative, descriptive research, which adopted the survey in its investigation process. For this, a online questionnaire made available was applied through a tool offered by the Google platform, called Google Forms. The questions to be answered dealt with the course taken as well as its correlation with the professional reality. The qualitative model was used for data analysis. Of the 96 participants, the subject(s) was (were) present at the graduation of 55 professors who reported that they obtained more theoretical knowledge than practical experiences. The highlighted transmitted contents were the characteristics of physical, cognitive and sensorial disabilities. In professional practice, students with physical disabilities were the ones who were most present in classes. Even those who took the course do not feel prepared to work with this audience, evidencing a deficient education and difficulties in intervening with school heterogeneity.
