International audience ; By creating a dialogue between discourse analysis, diachronic linguistics and writing studies, this article provides some initial elements for characterizing the speech genre scientific activity report as it occurs at the University of Nanterre. After situating this speech genre in relation to the macro-genre of report, we question the nature of its interactions with the politics of the institution over a recent diachrony (1970-2018). In doing so, we assess the weight of external history on this genre and the internal dynamics specific to the genre itself. ; Faisant dialoguer analyse du discours, linguistique diachronique et linguistique de l’écrit, cet article livre quelques premiers éléments de caractérisation du rapport scientifique à l’université de Nanterre. Après avoir situé ce genre de discours par rapport au macro-genre rapport, nous interrogeons la nature de ses interactions avec la politique de l’institution sur une diachronie récente (1970-2018). De la sorte, nous évaluons le poids de l’histoire externe sur ce genre et les dynamiques internes propres au genre lui-même.
