Por uma Pedagogia antirracista: a formação inicial de pedagogos e a Lei nº 10.639/2003

This article addresses aspects related to the teaching of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture established by Law 10,693/2003, verifying it from the point of view of the initial training of pedagogues. To this end, through qualitative research, based on data from document analysis and semi-structured interviews, the perceptions of students on the Pedagogy course regarding their educational trajectory, with regard to the theme, are discussed. Despite the long period of promulgation and the advances resulting from the Law, it is inferred that efforts are still needed in the country, in order to consolidate, from basic training to higher education, an education that considers, respects and recognizes the role of black people in the Brazilian social, economic, cultural and political formation in its plurality and richness. ; Este artigo analisa a formação inicial de pedagogos para o ensino de História e Cultura Afro-Brasileira, instituído pela Lei nº 10.639/2003. Com base em entrevistas semiestruturadas e avaliação documental, buscamos identificar o nível de conhecimento e captar a percepção de futuros professores sobre a própria formação. Os resultados revelam uma série de lacunas, especialmente o desconhecimento da lei. As descobertas reforçam conclusões de estudos anteriores, de autores como Paula e Guimarães (2014), Corenza (2018) e Munanga (2010, 2011, 2015). Os indícios são de que a formação inicial de pedagogos para ensinar História e Cultura Afro-Brasileira e promover uma educação antirracista ainda está aquém do desejável, 21 anos após a entrada da lei em vigor.
