      INTRODUCTION: Currently, systemic arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus are considered chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs), which generally develop throughout life, the Hiperdia program aims to collect data for long-term monitoring, support treatment and assistance to patients, as well as ensuring the receipt of medications with a focus on improving patients' quality of life. OBJECTIVE: The general objective of this study is to discuss nursing reception in a basic health unit in the hyperdia program. And, as specific objectives, describe the contributions of nursing in the hyperdia program in the Basic Health Unit; demonstrate the importance of health promotion in the Hiperdia Program in the Basic Health Unit and understand the population profile served in the Hiperdia Program. METHODOLOGY: This study is an integrative review of descriptive literature. RESULTS: The types of studies selected present an average of bibliographic review studies with 60%, followed by experience report research with 20%, and lastly, cross-sectional studies with 10% and descriptive studies with 10%. and the predominant magazines such as Revista Eletrônica Acervo Enfermagem. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS: Nursing is fundamental in the care and reception of patients in the Hiperdia Program in Basic Health Units and contributes significantly to the control of hypertension and diabetes, in addition to carrying out nursing processes, which promote self-care and improve the style of patients' lives. ; INTRODUCCIÓN: Actualmente la hipertensión arterial sistémica y la diabetes mellitus son consideradas enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles (ENT), que generalmente se desarrollan a lo largo de la vida, el programa Hiperdia tiene como objetivo recolectar datos para el seguimiento a largo plazo, apoyo al tratamiento y asistencia a los pacientes, así como asegurar la recepción de medicamentos con enfoque en mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes.
