A formação do ensino superior privado em Uberlândia/MG e as experiências de seus trabalhadores (1996-2006)

This work presents a study on the formation, growth and the changes observed at the juncture of private higher education in the city of Uberlândia, in order to understand the working conditions of teachers working in this space, trying to report their experiences of work and struggle. The methodology of work was carried out literature review and documentary research to understand how it was built the idea of the university over the centuries, how higher education was established in Brazil and in Uberlândia, at different times, with different perspectives and how the government reworked the idea of higher education to offer the country\'s economic development during the twentieth century. Furthermore, interested in the historical experience of the subjects analyzed here through their employment, interviews with teachers of private higher education, to understand, in addition to the documents surveyed, the working environment of these individuals between 1996 and 2006. ; Mestre em História ; Esse trabalho objetiva apresentar um estudo sobre a formação, a expansão e as alterações observadas na conjuntura do ensino superior privado na cidade de Uberlândia, visando compreender as condições de trabalho dos professores atuantes nesse espaço, buscando relatar suas experiências de trabalho e luta. Como metodologia de trabalho, realizou-se a revisão bibliográfica e a pesquisa documental para o entendimento de como foi construída a ideia de universidade ao longo dos séculos, de que forma o ensino superior estabeleceu-se no Brasil e em Uberlândia, em diferentes momentos, com diferentes perspectivas e como o governo reelaborou a ideia de ensino superior para propor o desenvolvimento econômico do país no decorrer do século XX.
