نبذة مختصرة : The objective of this research was to describe the knowledge about the concept of blood circulation in human beings, college students, and its correspondence relationship with the major programs. For such purposes, every content of the topic of blood circulation in the programs of the health careers were checked; their similarities and differences were compared. For this research, two development and multiple selection questionnaires were prepared, both of them had the same content. The answers obtained from the students were contrasted with the expected ones and classified as correct and incorrect. The results obtained indicated hat the answers with the highest percentage of correct were: What do you understand by the circulatory system? with 89. 1%, and why is blood red? with 79.9%. Other important results are the lack of understanding of the sequence of blood circulation at the level of the ventricles and their connection with the lymphatic circulation. It was concluded that there is no correspondence between the knowledge acquired by college students about the concept of human blood circulation with the contents indicated in the study programs. ; El objetivo de esta investigación fue describir los conocimientos sobre el concepto de circulación sanguínea en el ser humano en estudiantes universitarios y su relación de correspondencia con los programas de estudio. Para tales efectos, se revisaron todos los contenidos del tema de la circulación sanguínea de los programas de las carreras del área de la salud; se compararon sus semejanzas y diferencias. Para esta indagación se elaboraron dos cuestionarios, uno de tipo desarrollo y otro de selección múltiple, en ambos se preguntó el mismo contenido.
