Characterization of the burnout syndrome in teachers from Latin America: Revision sistemática ; Caracterización del agotamiento psicológico en profesores de América Latina: una revisión sistemática

The teaching work demands a lot of dedication, time and mental work from those who practice it, due to the multiplicity of tasks that must be carried out. Objective: To know how the characterization of burnout syndrome is found in Latin American teachers. Methods: The work methodology is based on the steps of the Review Systematic the literature: 1) identification of the research question, 2) identification of relevant studies, 3) selection of studies, 4) data extraction, 5) separation of the summary. and the results report and 6) dissemination of the results. Results: The 13 documents found indicate that the Burnout Syndrome is manifested mainly by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, low personal fulfillment, demotivation, rupture of interpersonal relationships, work stress, physical fatigue and depression. Conclusions: The constant changes that occur in the educational context lead the teacher to an intensification of their professional performance that point to the development of Burnout Syndrome, even more so when this situation is permeated by job instability. The studies analyzed indicate that this syndrome is manifested mainly by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, low personal fulfillment, lack of motivation, breakdown of interpersonal relationships, work stress, physical fatigue, and depression. ; Introducción: la labor docente le exige, a quien la ejerce, mucha dedicación, tiempo y trabajo mental por la multiplicidad de tareas que debe desarrollar. Objetivo: conocer cómo se encuentra la caracterización de síndrome de burnout en profesores de América Latina. Método: se realizó una revisión sistemática de literatura: 1) identificación de la pregunta de investigación, 2) identificación de estudios relevantes, 3) selección de los estudios, 4) extracción de datos, 5) separación del sumario y del informe de resultados y 6) divulgación de los resultados.
