This article investigates the role of ideologies in the processes of resistance against job insecurity carried out by bus drivers. Based on the Marxist framework and Historical-Cultural Psychology, semi-structured interviews were carried out with 11 workers in this category in the city of XXXX. These workers perceive their work as subsistence, personal fulfillment, moral education, and freedom of property; they perceive their work as precarious, the State as silent in the fight against precariousness, they feel empowered and valued in the exercise of their activity; and they validate the union, the strike and labor rights, but bet on other people to change the situation of precariousness. These senses allowed us to identify three ideologies, understood as mediating individual and collective action: the ideology of classic salaried work; the ideology of collective struggle; and the ideology of salvation. These interrelated ideologies guide the interlocutors in a contradictory way. On the one hand, they justify a lack of responsibility on the part of workers for direct action to combat the precariousness of work. On the other hand, they do not prevent resistance action at all, such as strikes and stoppages, but with a fragile commitment on the part of the workers. ; Este artigo investiga o papel das ideologias nos processos de resistência contra a precarização do trabalho realizado por motoristas de ônibus. A partir do referencial marxista e da Psicologia Histórico-Cultural, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com 11 trabalhadores dessa categoria na cidade de XXXX. Esses trabalhadores significam seus trabalhos como subsistência, realização pessoal, educação moral e liberdade patrimonial; compreendem o trabalho como precarizado, o Estado omisso no combate a precarização, se sentem empoderados e valorizados no exercício da sua atividade; e validam a instância sindical, a greve e os direitos trabalhistas, mas apostam em outras pessoas para a mudança da situação de precarização.
