Psychiatric disorders in nursing students ; Distúrbios psiquiátricos menores em acadêmicos de enfermagem

Objective: analyzing the suspicion of psychiatric disorders and its relationship with the predictor variables in academics of a degree course in nursing. Method: a cross-sectional, analytical study with a quantitative approach. There were interviewed 133 students from the first to the tenth semester of a private university of Rio Grande do Sul, using the Self-Reporting Questionnaire. The research project was approved by the Ethics Committee in Research, Protocol 110.101/2012. Results: the suspicion prevailed in 26% of the sample, being higher in students of recent semesters, health workers and trainees, in those with no time for leisure, with regular self-perception of health, who were not doing physical activity or who did not consult health service in the last year, with statistically significant difference. Conclusion: it needs to provide mechanisms to support students in coping with situations experienced throughout their professional training, especially at the end of the course. RESUMO Objetivo: analisar a suspeição para Distúrbios Psiquiátricos Menores e a sua relação com as variáveis preditoras em acadêmicos de um curso de graduação em enfermagem. Método: estudo transversal, analítico, com abordagem quantitativa. Foram entrevistados 133 acadêmicos do primeiro ao décimo semestre de uma universidade privada do Rio Grande do Sul, utilizando o Self-Reporting Questionnaire. O projeto de pesquisa foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa, Protocolo 110.101/2012. Resultados: a suspeição prevaleceu em 26% da amostra, sendo maior nos alunos dos últimos semestres, nos trabalhadores da saúde e estagiários, nos desprovidos de tempo para lazer, com autopercepção da saúde regular, que não realizavam atividade física ou que não consultaram o serviço de saúde no último ano, com diferença estatisticamente significativa.
