Cílem této práce je nastínit vývoj veřejné správy na území České republiky, která úzce souvisí s vývojem úředního jazyka. Práce se věnuje, jak postavení úředního jazyka v Česku, tak ve spojitosti s Evropskou unií. Dále jsou v práci kapitoly, které se zabývají vývojem češtiny a jazykové vybavenosti úředníků. ; Obhájeno ; The aim of this thesis is to outline the development of public administration in the Czech Republic, which is closely related to the development of the official language. The thesis deals with both the position of the official language in the Czech Republic and in connection with the European Union. There are also chapters in this thesis, that deal with the development of Czech and the language skills of officials.
