نبذة مختصرة : This article is dedicated to conducting a dialogue between the proposal of the school educator Célestin Freinet on the use of School Newspapers as pedagogical practices and their use in schools in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, in the mid-1940s, from the analysis of the state legislation that regulated the Auxiliary Associations of the School, in particular Decree-Law No. 3,735 / 1946 of Santa Catarina. The 1946 Santa Catarina legislation sought to approach the Escanovista perspective with the creation of the Auxiliary Associations of the School to which the Associação do Jornal Escolar belonged. Thus, we analyzed the state legislation and the dissemination, from the 1920s, of Freinet's works in relation to the practice of Jornal Escolar. In the study, we observed the attempt by the governments and educational leaders of the state of Santa Catarina to get closer to the school-based educational ideas with the practice of School Newspapers. However, in carrying out the analysis, we observed contradictions between the proposed legislation and Freinet's principles on the use of the Jornal Escolar. ; Este artículo está dedicado a llevar a cabo un diálogo entre la propuesta del educador escolar Célestin Freinet sobre el uso de periódicos escolares como prácticas pedagógicas y su uso en las escuelas del estado de Santa Catarina, Brasil, a mediados de la década de 1940, a partir del análisis de la legislación estado que regulaba las Asociaciones Auxiliares de la Escuela, en particular el Decreto Ley N ° 3.735 / 1946 de Santa Catarina.
