نبذة مختصرة : Given the structural violence rooted in socially marginalized societies, this article seeks to analyze the performance of peacebuilding, through art activism and education, as a form for desecuritization and politicization of these same communities. Using the qualitative and inductive-comparative method, the ratification of a security agenda based on political and economic-social interests in the city of João Pessoa/Paraíba will be critically analyzed, using the studies of Barry Buzan, Achille Mbembe, Paul Lederach, Johan Galtung, Paulo Freire and Augusto Boal as theoretical landmarks. The research seeks to investigate the relationship between the local artivists of Urso Amigo Batucada (UAB) – who act at the Rangel Youth Reference Center in the Varjão neighborhood – and the marginalized community to which they belong, where they build peace through education and art, and seek to make the youth aware as actors who are capable of questioning the violent structures in which they are inserted. The volunteers of the Projeto Universidade em Ação (PUA) enter into this process of reciprocal exchanges as partners, with the aim of enhancing the action already carried out, through a dialogic construction, being able to catalyze and produce other nuances in the construction of Peace that reinforce the actions already executed. ; Dada la violencia estructural arraigada en sociedades socialmente marginadas, este artículo busca analizar el desempeño de la construcción de paz, a través del activismo artístico y la educación, como medio para la desecuritización y politización de estas mismas comunidades.
