Brazil, since 2010, for thousands of Haitians has become a space for transnational mobility, whether as a route of passage or stay, and since then the flow of migration has been continuous. In addition to geographic borders, migration crosses cultural, symbolic and linguistic borders, which favor the contact of very different individuals and cultures. The interaction promoted by transit between nations also reveals different ways of life of migrants that do not always fit the standard and institutional models of the country in which they are located. The article aims to analyze the perception of Haitian migrants located in the Franco-Brazilian border region about citizenship. The research is justified because the understanding of what their rights would be does not seem to involve the dimension of citizenship defined in Brazil. In view of the life project of Haitians and the dynamics of mobility, the relationship with citizenship and access to public spaces that involve participation, deliberation and demands are often restricted to opportunities: opportunities for work and free movement between territories. The hypothesis is that rights, for migrants, seem to acquire another aspect, more simplified than the understanding of citizenship known to Brazilians. The ethnographic research was carried out in Oiapoque-AP, based on bibliographical research. ; O Brasil, desde 2010, para milhares de haitianos, se tornou espaço da mobilidade transnacional, seja como rota de passagem ou permanência, e, desde então, o fluxo da migração é contínuo. Além de fronteiras geográficas, a migração perpassa entre fronteiras culturais, simbólicas, linguísticas, as quais favorecem o contato de indivíduos e culturas muito diferentes. A interação promovida pelo trânsito entre nações também revela distintos modos de vida dos migrantes que nem sempre se ajustam aos modelos padrões e institucionais do país em que se encontram.
